kalaloch

You're going to have to bear with me here because the next several posts are going to be filled with pics from our weekend. Since I'm not a professional photographer I tend to take a billion pictures and hope that a few turn out. Of course the problem is that since I'm usually taking pics of Vin I tend to love most of them!

Chris had the great idea of going to Kalaloch this weekend, which also happened to be Mothers Day weekend. I don't think we realized how badly we needed to get away until we were there, enjoying the peacefulness of the beach and some family time all to ourselves.

The change of scenery was exactly what Vin needed as well. He couldn't get enough of the beach. Every day he woke up early, took 1 hour naps, and went to bed late every night! And as soon as he was up in the morning he immediately wanted to go back outside. If we delayed that request he walked around whinning until we did ... and the boy has he perfected the art of the fake cry, pouty lip and all.

Vin did like the cabin too, at least on the first day. He inspected every inch, swept the floors, and played in the shower. Mostly though, he was only ok in the cabin when we were eating or sleeping, which was really just fine with us.

Kramo and Maddy were little angels. It was almost as though we had brought someone elses dogs. We rarely had them on leashes (except around the cabins) and they didn't bother anyone, they didn't wander off, and they listened when we called them. Truly miraculous.

This was also the weekend that Kramo and Vin really became buds. You will see Kramo in most of the pictures right next to Vin, trying desperately to see what he is doing. They were great together. Maddy of course has always been great with Vin and this weekend was no exception.

Vin lounging ... on Maddy.

A now rare photo of Chris and I together.

One of my favs of Vin.
