Since the very first spring that we've been in this house I have tried to get rid of the ring of tulips around the huge tree in our front yard. It's not that I don't like tulips. I like them just fine. It's just that this ring around the tree looks so silly to me. I don't understand it. But try as I might these tulips just won't go away!! I pull out the bulbs, I dig through the soil and find all the tiny little bulbs that have yet to bloom, I sift ... yet apparently tulips multiply like bunnies because they still return EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
Well, this was the first year that I was actually glad to see them because Vin found them fascinating! Silver lining I guess ...
Vin took some time to dig in the dirt, but of course he had to find a stick in order to do it. I thought he was over his dirt issues, but I guess not!
What a cutie!! I just love this kid!!
