We had a small BBQ a few weeks ago with friends. It was the first time Kim and Mo had a chance to meet Colin. Mo was pretty funny holding him, but Colin seemed quite content. It was nice to catch up with everyone and especially nice to have everyone here, where we are familiar with the trouble Vin can get into and there is a little less chasing him around going on throughout the evening. It also gave me an excuse to get Chris to help me speed clean the house! Ha :)
Vin has been watching with curiosity every time we put Colin in the bouncy seat. We usually have it on the kitchen table (you know, the first place they list on the instructions that you SHOULDN'T put it) but we put it on the floor so people could gather around the table. When Colin wanted out, Vin took the opportunity to get in.
It was about an inch from hitting the ground, but he was fully amused. What a goofball.
The boys and Lily on the back deck BBQ-ing ... and playing with the water table. They ended up "washing" the play dishes/toys it it by the end of the evening. Vin just loves bubbles.
It was such a beautiful day that we also set up the kiddie pools in the backyard. Man, we seriously need new grass. No big wonder why we don't water back there.
