We are so thankful that Vin immediately fell in love with his little brother. He smiles at Colin, gently pats his little head, gives him little kisses (mostly he just puts his cheek up to Colin's), and when Colin cries, sometimes Vin will whimper a little until the crying stops. It's all really quite sweet.
So far there is no jealousy. Maybe that starts later. I really don't know. Vin has also gained a sudden independence that he was somewhat lacking before. It's been a huge relief because breastfeeding really takes a chunk of time out of the day. Admittedly there is also a lot more TV watching going on than I would like, but thankfully I have my mommy group and playdates to break it up a little. I don't know what I would do without them.
