Our wonderful little red headed baby boy is still (knock on wood ... yes, I just did) as sweet as can be. He did finally find his voice after about a week, but he still rarely uses it. When he does, it's pretty easy to calm him. The funniest thing is that he seems to know whenever I leave the room, and that's usually when he chooses to cry. At other times we can put him in the bouncy chair and he's content as can be, no matter how noisy it gets. We're extremely lucky that he can tune out noise too because it would be a sad, sad time at the Haney house if he couldn't deal!
He's also sleeping 3-4 hours at least once a day as of late. I'm hoping it'll last! The down side is that he makes up for it by nursing more (sometimes every 2 hours) during the day. I'll take it though! He still only nurses for a max of 15 minutes. So crazy compared to Vin! Poor little Vin ... I just couldn't figure it out with him. Honestly though, I still think Vin couldn't detach himself from me and that's why he would go 45-75 minutes.
Colin's 1 month check up is tomorrow ... we'll see how he's really progressing then!
