We decided to go to the Whiteheads for the 4th this year, hoping Vin would enjoy the fireworks. Unfortunately, the loud booms did NOT make him happy. We're thinking we might want to go somewhere and watch next year, somewhere with a little distance between us and the fireworks, so that it's not quite so loud, and see if he likes them any better.

Earlier that evening we did BBQ and let the kids play in the backyard. Vin and Maci found the dirt extremely interesting -- so much so that they both required baths later that night. Amie and Chris gave them a bath together and we were able to get some pretty cute pics. This isn't really the place to share them, though they are rediculously cute. Someday we'll pull them out and share though, when we can at least get them the two of them to blush ;)
