Vinny and I joined a mommy caravan running group so that we could take full advantage of summer in Seattle. It meets at Green Lake (which is my favorite place to walk) and though summer has been a bit of a disappointment so far, the running group was awesome! It's nice that pretty much everyone (except the coach) is a beginner, or is just getting back into running since the birth of their baby (the babies ages ranged from 9.5 months to 18 months). And what a treat to meet some new, cool mommies!By week 8 Coach Beth promises to have us ready to run a 5k, which Vinny and I are really looking forward to.
