Since it was Father's Day weekend, daddy chose for us to hit the Washington Brewers Festival in Kenmore. They made us sign a waiver promising that we wouldn't give Vin any beer, but he still managed to have a great time anyway. We found the perfect little grassy hill to lay out our blanket -- a spot in the heart of the action but with almost no foot traffic -- and Vin was entertained just watching all the people and investigating the contents of his diaper bag. He even tried a few bites of my African chicken wrap and Grandma's baked potato. Even more surprising, he loved them both! I don't think we have a picky eater on our hands, though we did find out recently that he isn't a fan of apricots (neither is mommy).Anyway, it was so nice to be out in the sun and spend some time with Grandma & Grandpa Haney. And as soon as Vin wakes from his nap we're off to hike to the beach and enjoy it again today!
